Two downtown casinos owned by Boyd Gaming agreed to a tentative five-year deal with Culinary Union Local 226 overnight.
The deal affects nearly 500 hotel employees at the Fremont Hotel and Casino and Main Street Station.

Culinary is negotiating a new citywide five-year contract for its members. He represents housekeepers, waiters, bellmen, porters, bartenders, and kitchen and laundry workers throughout the valley.
Contract negotiations continue with off-Strip hotel-casino Virgin owned by JCH Hospitality, Tilman Fertitta-owned Golden Nugget and CIM Group, and Fifth Street Gaming-owned Downtown Grand.
